Medical Fair China 2023 was grandly opened in Suzhou on August 23rd

On August 23rd, 2023, Medical Fair China (MFC), hosted by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., kicked off at Suzhou International Expo Center. This exhibition brings together over 300 renowned companies in the medical industry, covering an exhibition area of 15,000㎡. The first day of the exhibition witnessed a huge turnout of visitors, with leading enterprises showcasing their latest achievements, cutting-edge technologies, and high-quality products in various fields.
Medical Fair China 2023, with the theme of “Drive the Development of Healthcare”, featuring a comprehensive range of products including medical devices, IVD & POCT, home and wearable devices, smart healthcare, medical protective equipment, medical consumables, rehabilitation care, minimally invasive and implantable interventions, medical information technology, etc. The exhibition directly and comprehensively served the entire industry chain of medical device from source to end, accelerating the transition of medical products from international dominance to a new era of Chinese innovation, further promoting industry upgrades and innovative development.

Multiple concurrent events empowering the development of the medical device industry
The "EU-China International Cooperation and Exchange Forum on Innovative Medical Devices," co-organized by Messe Dusseldorf (Shanghai) Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Suzhou MDCE Co., Ltd., was successfully held on the morning of August 23rd. The forum was hosted by Deng Xiaoyu, Founder of MDCE. Keynote speakers included Pan Lizi, Researcher of Institute of Medical Information; Jin Xiangdan, Director of the Medical Device Big Data and Compliance Strategy Center; Dennis Wilkens, Director Chinaof Germany Trade & Invest; Xu Jun, chief representative of NRW. Global Business, and several enterprise representatives. Sharing topics included technology, marketing and investment, with the aim of boosting the progress of the industry and helping China’s medical device enterprises to go to Europe.
Continuing the success of last year's Ferryman Club Medical Forum, this year, MFC once again joined hands with the Ferryman Club to host the Supply Chain Medical Innovation Forum. The forum was held all day on August 23rd, chaired by Mr. Wang Yaomin, Chairman of the Ferryman Club.The forum invited senior executives and industry experts from well-known enterprises, such as Pei Peng, Director of Yuwell Group; Liu Junlin, General Manager of Sinopharm logistics Development Center; Wang Guofeng, President of Henan Turen;[CY1] [FL2] Huang Xinfang, Project leader of Wuxi Pharming Biology; Meng Zhu, General Manager of Puruichun Medical; Dai Yixiang, Founder of Mill Medical; Shi Xiaohao, General Manager of Zeli, etc. During the forum, they’ve been sharing perspectives on trendy topics such as “Digital Development of Medical Enterprises”, “Construction of the Supply Chain System”, “Digital Management of the Pharmaceutical Cold Chain”, “AI + Pension”, and“Interpretation of UDI Policies”.
On the afternoon of August 23rd, the Digital Therapy and Intelligent Rehabilitation Seminar was successfully held, which was hosted by China Rehabilitation Technology Transformation and Development Promotion Association (CARTTP) and co-hosted by Medical Fair China organizing committee.
The seminar invited leaders from the CARTTP, and Dr. Li Xiao, Head of the Chinese PLA General Hospital; Lin Hui, Director of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital and several digital therapy industry leaders. They jointly discussed the current application status of digital therapy and aimed to better promote the healthy development of the digital medical sector, marking a milestone for the digital medicine.
The excitement continues on the second day with in-depth concurrent events.
The second day of MFC 2023 (August 24th) will bring more fruitful concurrent events, including the FTR4H Digital Health Forum, Domestic and International Medical Device Procurement Forum, Digital Transformation and Compliance Forum, and Medical Device Industry Compliance Management Forum. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about emerging trends, explore best practices, and engage in extensive and in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities in the medical device industry.
